The Blog

This week, a pithy hiatus from writing about our L.O.P series to discuss two topics which are central to our online marketing efforts. On building a lean startup using bootstrapping methodologies from the bowls of a middle class creative. As it relates to the idea behind art and the public sphere. In case it has not been clear to those of you who read the publication for the simple amusement of tongue in cheek tactics. And to the thousands of you who follow us on social media and have subscribed to the magazine thus far, we say:

Thank you for the generous feedback as we move forward building our startup incubator.

The Lean Startup

Core Contributor Loop (CTTDC)
Core Contributor Loop (CTTDC)

A comprehensive theory of entrepreneurship should address all the functions of an early-stage venture: vision and concept, product development, marketing and sales, scaling up, partnerships and distribution. Including a comprehensive structural and organizational design as it related to our specific web related services.

Our efforts, specially in how we utilize the “blog first strategy” is spent tuning the engine by making improvements in product, marketing, code, design and operations. At the moment our startup incubator works with about ten creatives including myself as the lead web developer/online marketer behind the project. We belief that by focusing on building personal projects first as a means of showcasing our design portfolio. Will grant us access to build a collective body of work online that is worthy of raising capital for further expansion of our startup. The line on paper essay series will be the first actual web app towards creating a DIY social community platform.

How many times you searched for information on a particular topic and found that some of the highest results returned, are from blogs? Blogs offer a wealth of information, good and bad but have become widely used in combination with social media. As a key business and marketing tool for any lean startup such as CTTDC. If you have been following our developments on what we say and exhibit online. You will clearly come to the cogent conclusion behind the primary call to action behind the meaning of our publication. Some blogs can be personal rants shared with the masses, others are private musings. Art Journal is an exploration behind methods and practices of creating online products and services. Comments, Subscription And Blog Strategy

Startup blogs exist for marketing and communications, and when done best they offer real-person engagement from our desired target audience and communities. Our goal is to build a successful network of blogs built around the functions of our startup culture, apps and digital services. Expressing the human side of Creative Think Tank DC company culture and values as an LLC. Your comments in conjunction with subscribing to our magazine allows many voices to speak and become brand ambassadors to the startup. Comments are a great way for our blog to pass information and ideas indicating two-way communications between our creatives and your feedback loop.

Currently our startup consist of ten visual artist working across disciplinary art media. With me, acting as the digital content curator and senior web developer and online sales marketing specialist. You may think your startup does not need a blog first strategy. It’s true, not everyone requires one, but do remember: a blog is a tool for expression that if used proper. May help build relationships in driving search engine traffic, raise awareness including crowd funding avenues.

In the new digital online marketing space, connecting with people on a much more personal level. By having a tool at your disposal that supports that goal will certainly make it easier to accomplish.

I  am a web designer with a cultural background in BFA studies in the humanities, media, printmaking and graphic design respectively. With the adaptation of learning web programing, front end development and digital product marketing. Our startup was founded a few years ago in 2010. Building, modifying and trying to raise capital has been at the core of our contributor loop social strategy. While certainly, we are quite aware that we might not be able to scale or even raise the kinds of capital to grow exponentially over time. This are the hard facts most of us who wish to travel along such innovative paths must face head on at times. However, our primary desires for creating L.O.P are not centrally infused on a clear R.O.I.  Our main focus at this point is to continue, adapt, program and iterate.

I would absolutely incline you to start with a free blog over at WordPress.com. Over time, you can always upgrade to a paid option as your skills with blogging/web design improve. Let us know if we can consult in any way.
