To The Reader,

Portait Of Hunter S Thomson by Apex76
Portrait Of Hunter S Thomson by Apex76

I began working on Art Journal a few years ago and it has been quite a journey. In realizing the amount of work which goes into researching, designing, writing and publishing these essays, into a cohesive entity. A task I choose to embark upon as an artist, which has been more daring than I expected.

Along the way however, many challenges into unknown terrain have culminated into unbroken truths. Regarding the role a visual artist/philosopher/designer/ can have in our society today.

This is not a rant, insult nor a means of attacking anyone who dares to read or criticize our efforts. Simply I am clarifying the long hiatus between essays in a way that is logical in tone for our readers to understand. Currently, I am involved with helping a friend with sociology research within the academic art field. Along with maintaining a web design freelancing career using WP. While working on several web project start-ups along the way.

Most importantly, I have been taking several grammar and essay courses towards developing better stories as I begin the journey towards “Gonzo Journalism”. A core value proposition for art journal, moving forward.

“You have all the most valuable assets at your disposal. The ability to tell great stories. Everything else can be learned”

–Mr.Natural.

In weeks ahead, we promise to entice you with several essays covering Art, Design, Contemporary Philosophy and Gonzo stories.  With a complete essay structuring, grammar and editorial core contributor loop are in the pipeline.

Cheers,
