A collection of hand drawn trees with digital art graphic motifs. Christ-Mas. Volume One / Volume Two is a four volume essay series focusing on Postmodernity and it’s contradictory arguments. For the sake to explain both Pre-Modern and Modern epochs. Drawing inspiration from a number of historical, scientific and creative sources. The essay’s main thesis is to ask the following question: What does it mean to be Postmodern? Filtering logos and community together with contradictory examples, against the power behind individual values, AI and culture. Democracy, Western values, Technology, Science, The Arts and Philosophy. Are fundamental particles, smashed into a Dyson Sphere accelerator dreamscape. Coupled with understanding Postmodern text’s and discourse. Postmodernism is the best social theory to understand history. Now, and freaking for ever, Cats. The musical.

Notes from the literary critic, on Fauvism and art history: Gallery Detail on larger works, displayed below.

Fauvism is essentially French, wild, early and ahead of it’s time. A movement beginning at the early part of the 20th Century, France. Vincent Van Gogh painting entitled, The Bedroom 1889 was painted nearly 20 years before Fauvism began. Dear Vincent never witness to see the 20th. However, leaving behind the blue print for the next French generation. In Fauvism, the artist took radical brushwork approaches, beyond Vincent’s Impasto. On Fauvism:

“Donatello au milieu des fauves! Donatello among the wild beast!. was the ready quip of Louis Vauxcelles, art critic for the review Gil Blas, when he entered gallery at Paris VII 1905 Salon d’ Automne and found himself surrounded by blazingly colored, vehemently brushed canvases in the midst of which stood a small neo-Renaissance sculpture. With this witticism Vauxcelles gave the first French avant-garde style to emerge in the twentieth century its name, thereby provoking one of modernismlassic “scandals” It should be noted, however that Vauxcelles was generally sympathetic to the work presented by the group of young painters, as were other liberal critics. The starting point of Fauvism was later identified by Henri Matisse, the sober and rather professorial leader of the Fauves, as the courage to return to the purity of means”

The “purity of means” Matisse mentions is pure impasto strokes while manner of finding a new voice, to sweat out Van Gogh.

— Overview

Line, shape, texture, color and hand drawn composition. Compressed inwardly towards the event horizon. A place where matter and antimatter, coalesce in blended wild tones.

What does it mean to be Postmodern? is our running narrative from Volume 1 to 4. The following notes are from The 10 principles of concentration of wealth and power by Noam Chomsky.

Volume One introduces the reader to think about Nihilism together as an act of creation. Beyond Marxist interpretations, Nihilism is going through a Renaissance. In China. In later essays, we attempt to draw historical mental maps. Connecting the rise behind China’s new complex. In the 21st, that is.
