The WordPress BackEnd (.Com)

This is the wp backend for a typical (.com) account with icons module taps located at the left of the screen in shades of black. Each module option within your dashboard gives you access to other site wide specific functions such as: (Store, Post, Media, Pages, Appearance, etc) leading you to other sections of customization and editing.

Within the Dashboard of any WordPress installation is the ability to add new post via the QuickPress option, see your recent drafts and recent comments pending for moderation review. The Appearance option is where CSS, Fonts and theme customization are located and performed. And does differ between which flavors of WP you have running on your system. I would strongly suggest arming yourself with basic CSS before delving into theme design modifications. Or you can use the default template design as a general starting point.
