The Dashboard Welcome Screen

Once you log in to your WordPress Dashboard for the first time, you are presented with the welcome screen. With a pithy description behind “whats new” and a few other related features of your particular installation. To the left of the screen, we see each module option but with a hand more of added tools than with a (.com) install as seen on Figure 1-1. The welcome screen will look and change as later versions of WP are added.
