The-Long-Hiatus

Emotions are a form of dormant tectonic plates. Especially within the universe I inhabit these days.

After a brief hiatus from writing and developing new web projects I have decided to once again hit the ground running.  Creative time, positive energy and fencing off undesirable criticism  are a few things I need to work on as I continue working on articles for the Art Journal Magazine.

Ideas such as “Who Is Your Intended Target Audience” are extremely important to hash out.

These Days,

Are spent between hashing out a comprehensive online portfolio of work dating back several decades in conjunction with maintaining a freelancing career as a web designer. The online portfolio will be a culmination of work ranging between visual design, fine arts and front end development. The latter is a new skill I have been working on as a means of secondary income in moving away from other non-inspiring trade jobs. I briefly wrote about the topic back at the beginning of the Summer.

Target Audience,

When people call you “Crazy” by any other means of cultural hierarchy, mistrust and stupidity; it usually informs me of being on the right path. Striking a cord in the right direction at least.

Especially in en epoch of “Observe, Critique And Report”

My efforts with the Art Journal Magazine project (What You Are Reading Right Now) is to create a series of digital editorial design articles aimed at cultivating a conversation between art, design, technology and culture.

Asking one fundamental questions to our readership and subscriber base:

What is the relationship between art & design? and how does our cultural epoch reflects these changes as we transition from a analog driven ecosystem to a purely digital one. Ruled by technological changes in en ever evolving environment where being ironic and creative are seen as agents of mistrust.

Moving forward, its my goal to publish bi-weekly articles in conjunction with our monthly newsletter for those of you who subscribe.

Next Steps

@Art Journal MagFollow @Art Journal Magazine and stay updated with weekly articles covering a rage of topics, interest, ideas and web design best practices. Created by the ironic mind of DC. A freelancer editorial web designer with a background in Fine Arts. We hope you find these articles to be fun, creative and inspirational.
